IAU Grant
The International Astronomical Union spends a considerable fraction of its income on grants for participation in the annual nine IAU Symposia, in the annual Regional IAU Meeting, and in the triennial IAU General Assembly.
Please note that deadline listed on the page closes at 11:59 PM in the IAU office in Paris, France (GMT+1) on the given deadline date.
Important Notes
GA registration must be completed with the "Bank Transfer" payment option. IAU/KAS grant applicants must choose "Bank transfer" as a method of payment. You do not need to make a payment at this stage.
Once you have registered at the IAUGA 2022, please send an email to abstract@iauga2022.org with your registration number, name and email. Within 3 working days, the GA Secretariat will send you an email to notify that you are ready to submit abstracts. After receiving this email, please go to "MY PAGE" and submit your abstract via the online abstract submission system.
Then you should fill out the IAU grant application form.
Announcement of KAS grantees will be released prior to the deadline for IAU grant application.
In case an applicant is not selected as a grantee of IAU/KAS grants and still wishing to keep the registration, the applicant will be asked to pay the early-bird registration fee after the notification.
