Dear participants and colleagues from all over the world, Warmest greetings from the IAUGA 2022 Secretariat. We note that participants and colleagues holding certain passports are facing visa issues, as the current practices are not in favour of visa approval for those countries and passport holders. Situation for COVID-19 travel restrictions in numbers of countries including Korea is changing rapidly and there may be some significant updates in the coming months before the commencement of GA 2022. We have consulted various governmental parties to resolve the current issue and learned that it may not be possible for us to assist some of the visa applicants to enter Republic of Korea. If you would like to cancel your registration or change your registration from in-person to virtual, please let us know by sending a note to registration@iauga2022.org for further information. There will be no processing fees for such changes. Please note that if you are scheduled to give oral presentations (invited/contributed/in-room/remote), you should remain “registered in-person”. In addition, please notify your SOCs that you need to present your talks remotely. We will also send a note to SOCs for your remote participation. We deeply regret to inform you this unfortunate inconvenience, and we very much look forward to having you at GA 2022. Sincerely, IAUGA 2022 Secretariat |
